Sebastian Taddei was born in 1993 in Bolzano, Italy, and started playing the French horn at the age of 12. He began his musical education at the Konservatorium Bozen as a junior student under Prof. Nikolaus Walch, before moving to Prof. Johannes Hinterholzer in 2012 at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München. His first orchestral experience was with the Jugendsinfonieorchester Südtirol. In 2011 he won first prize at the Austrian national competition “Prima la musica”.
In 2012, Sebastian was an intern at the Hofer Symphoniker, and in 2015 he received a scholarship from the Orff Academy of the Münchner Rundfunkorchester.
Further engagements as a guest musician include gigs with the Tiroler Symphonieorchester Innsbruck, the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern, the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, the Münchner Kammerorchester, and the Münchener Rundfunkorchester.
Sebastian joined the Paul Hindemith Orchestra Academy in December 2017.
