Rocío García Perez
Born in 1995 in Leon, Spain, Rocío Garcia Perez began her musical training at the age of seven. Supported by the Spanish government she studied at the Salamanca music college with Karolina Michalska, and one year later continued her studies at the Carl Maria von Weber music school in Dresden under Professor Christian Uhlig. In 2018 she completed a Bachelor’s degree at the Frankfurt College of Music and the Performing Arts, studying with Professor Sophia Jaffé, with whom she is currently preparing for her Master’s degree. Concurrently she receives instruction in Baroque violin playing from Professor Petra Müllejans.
Rocío is a prizewinner of the international Queen Sophie Charlotte competition and has held a scholarship for the Paul Hindemith Orchestral Academy at the Frankfurt Opera since April 2019.
