Philipp Adamczewski was born in Cologne, Germany, in 1997. At an early age he showed interest in music and he received his first recorder and piano lessons at the local music school. 2007 he was given his first oboe lessons by Sibylle Hahn. Soon after that he started playing in different youth orchestras. In 2013 he switched teachers to Tom Owen, principal oboist of the Gürzenich-Orchestra Cologne. Philipp gained orchestra experience in multiple student-orchestras and in projects with the `South-West-German Chamber Orchestra Pforzheim´, the `New Rhinelandian Chamber Orchestra Cologne´ and at the `Podium Festival 2017 in Esslingen´. Besides classical music, performing works by current composers is very important to him. He played at the `Donaueschinger Musiktage 2016´ and at `Der Sommer in Stuttgart 2017´.
